The North American RV market continues to be the foundation of our success in our OEM space. RV OEM sales increased 52% during the second quarter of 2022 compared to 2021 reaching $906 million, driven by elevated wholesale shipments and market share gains. Our successful diversification initiatives continue to show fantastic results and improve our financial performance and strengthen our balance sheet, giving us the flexibility to execute on our strategic priorities and further invest in our business. Our recent acquisitions of Furrion, Girard, Trazcor, and others added approximately $81 million in net sales for the quarter, helping expand our market share in new high-growth markets. We ended the quarter with $1.5 billion in revenue was up 40% year over year with strong demand across the markets we serve to support double-digit revenue growth in each of our core markets.
As we continue to drive our diversification strategy forward, we are creating strong, growing businesses, which greatly help mitigate the cyclicality of our RV OEM business, which we believe will generate great value for years to come.
